Yes, you read the title correctly. Bunyadi, a dining concept in the U.K. that is opening later this year, is the world’s first naked pop-up restaurant.
Opening in June, the concept will provide diners with an option to dine in the nude or clothed (waitstaff will be semi-nude), but in the privacy of their own cubicle. Currently, the restaurant has over 32,000 people waiting to pay $95 a head for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
So, what’s for dinner? The restaurant will serve vegan dishes, so as to embody a true “natural” environment but not using grills, ovens or electricity. Chefs will use woodfires to prepare dishes, with edible cutlery and earthenware crockery available for guests.
Better bring the hand (and body) sanitizer!
